Primary 1a. 12/5/20

Happy Tuesday Everyone!

Good morning, boys and girls.  I hope you are all well today.  We have lots of work and some fun activities for you to complete this week.

As usual, we are going to start our day off by saying our morning prayer.

God Our Father, as we prepare to begin our work, we ask you to help us to use properly the many gifts that you have given us, so that we may fully benefit from our day together at school.  St Barbara Pray for us.🙏

Remember boys and girls that during the month of May, we pray to and honour Our Lady.  Did you know that Our Lady has many different names?  These names are connected to different places where she has appeared or to help that she gives people in need.  For example, Our Lady Help of the Sick, Our Lady Refuge for Sinners, Our lady of Good Counsel,  Our Lady of Lourdes and Our Lady of Fatima.

Today, we are going to watch a power point which tells you the story of Our Lady Of Fatima.  I hope you enjoy it.

Here is the link to the power-point.

Boys and girls, lets have some fun today.  I have posted a link to some sports day activities that you can do at home.

You can do some of them on your own or you can ask someone at home to play with you.  You can keep a score card and count up your points and see who wins or you can just do it for fun.  These activities are fun and a good way to keep fit.  Enjoy!

We are going to carry on practising our adding and taking away today, boys and girls.  Remember, when you add 2 numbers together it makes a bigger number.

When you take one number away from another, you get a smaller number.
