Dear Parent/Carer,
Our nursery class has gone under a huge transformation in the last 12 months. This was recognised at a recent follow-up Care Inspectorate Report.
Our nursery was visited by an inspector just before Easter. She spent a number of days in the nursery class speaking to staff and parents, interacting with the children and observing the interactions which were going on.
She recognised the work that had been undertaken in both the playroom and the outdoor areas.
She was complimentary about the changes that our new lead, Mrs Duff, had put into place and the support that had been provided to nursery staff in order to develop and improve.
There are no further recommendations or requirements that the nursery has to comply with and the nursery has been upgraded to very good in 2 areas and good in 2 areas.
A celebration of the result is planned for 19th June.
