Fairtrade Fortnight

We had a great time during Fairtrade Fortnight.  Classes were learning more about Fairtrade and took part in different Fairtrade activities.

During Fairtrade Fortnight, we generated a total of £648.10 overall for Fairtrade.  This money came from sales from the pocket money stall, selling bananas, tasting Fairtrade fruit smoothies, wearing Fairtrade colours and having a sale of Fairtrade items in the staff room.

We also had a Fairtrade Art competition and we had a very worthy winner of this.

We also managed to launch our Fairtrade flag at the front of our school and the Fairtrade committee have been photographed by the Cumbernauld News.
