The children have been very busy exploring the learning environment both indoors out. We have all been having lots of fun climbing, sliding and investigating our new Treetop Lodge climbing Frame.
We have also welcomed our new children into the early level playroom and all are settling in very well.
The children within the early level playroom will be exploring a variety of fun interesting books during Nurturing Early Readers. The children will be introduced to new vocabulary, develop an understanding of story elements and develop higher order thinking and extend language skills.
The books that staff and children will be reading are:
Tuesday 1st
Elaine will be consulting with parents to dicuss the Caterpillar Group children’s personal plans.
Jennifer and Liz will be supporting in the early level playroom today.
Wednesday 2nd
Jackie and Lynn will be hosting the Community Transition Planning Meeting

Thursday 3rd
Community Learning & Development worker Jen will be hosting a meeting within the parents room from 10am-11am & 2-3pm to introduce herself to new and existing parents and to discuss her role within Shotts Family Learning Centre
Friday 4th
Parent.com meeting in Parents room 11am-11.40 & 2.45-3.30

At the end of the last term the children were asked to design a new logo for the nursery clothing.
We now have a new supplier from Trutex schoolwear & more, where you can order online through the attached link or purchase direct from the store in Wishaw. By ordering online you will be able to choose any colour and any product, the shop will stock two colours only.

Thursday 25th June – Last Day of Term- Whole Nursery Nature Park visit with practitioners, morning and afternoon sessions.
