Congratulations to Eva, who was the runner up in the Airdrie Academy Cluster French Easter Poster Competition. Eva designed a poster, which demonstrated her knowledge of French Easter traditions and symbols.

Over the past three weeks, our P2 and P3 children have been taking part in ‘French Immersion’ lessons, courtesy of Alliance Francaise. The pupils have been working with native French speakers, and have been learning how to use simple greetings, how to follow classroom instructions, how to count and sing and how to recognise colours, all in French! It’s incredible how quickly the children are able to pick up the language, and these lessons have been a big hit with the pupils! In the gallery you can see some of our children practising their speaking with their French sock puppets. C’est excellente!
