World Book Day, 2025
We had the best time celebrating World Book Day! Our school was a sea of Harry Potters, Maltidas, pirates, princesses, Mad Hatters, aliens and lots more. We celebrated all things books as we took on the Masked Reader challenge, shared our favourite stories, took part in a ’round robin’ read and had lots of DEAR (Drop Everything and Read) time.
Reading Schools Valentine’s Day Challenges!
Take part in one of our Valentine’s Day themed reading challenges for the chance to win up to 200 House Points! You have until Friday 28th of February to take part. Please see photos for more information.

Primary 1 Enrolment – 2025
Children who turn 5 years of age between 1st March 2025 and 28th February 2026 should be registered for school by the 20th of January.
We would like to welcome all Primary 1 beginners for enrolment at Ravenswood Primary on Tuesday 14th and Wednesday 15th of January. You will find us on Tiree Road, Cumbernauld, G67 1NR. Please come along on the day that suits you best between 9:15am and 10:15am or 1:45pm – 2:45pm.
You will need to bring…
- Your child’s birth certificate
- A recent council tax bill.

Primary 1-3 are so excited to perform in ‘Straw and Order’ on Wednesday 4th of December at 1:30pm and Thursday 5th of December at 6:30pm. Please see the poster to find out how to get your tickets.
