P7 have been practising their spelling rule words using lots of fun spelling tasks. Our favourites this week were Glitter Spelling  (it was very messy!), Spelling Hangman and ICT whiteboard spelling.

This week P7 looked at Christmas traditions around the world. In pairs we used the iPads to research what Christmas is like in different countries. Did you know that in Japan children go to school on Christmas day ?!

This week P7 started their new novel studies. We discussed prior knowledge and predictions with our groups, and read the first chapters. All groups are LOVING their new books!

Primary 7 had a great day competing at the Sportshall Athletics competition. We took part in track and field events and cheered each other on all day!

Primary 7 are all set for our Christmas Fayre tomorrow. Come along  and buy some of our fabulous candles!

Primary 7 used Numicon and open number lines to complete some tricky subtraction sums.

P7’s Enterprise company Glowing Treasures is hard at work creating our product for the Christmas fayre.

P7 have been learning basketball skills during PE. They were keen to put these skills into practice with some team games. Go Ravenswood!
