We have been using the numeracy map to help improve our numeracy skills. Today we played “Target Number” in pairs where we were given a target number and had to work out which can number would add to any given number to reach that target. We’re becoming much faster with our mental calculations now!

A hymn to Saint teresa
Today, we wrote prayers to the newly canonised Saint Teresa, then used Garage Band on the iPads to turn our prayers into hymns.

Planning our theme parks
The senior department are taking part in a Space themed “Theme Park Challenge”, where they have to design a theme park. They are working hard trying to budget for their parks and have big ideas for the rides they will incorporate into them!

Welcome Back!
Welcome back to school!
Today, the children in Rooms 13 and 14 took the new Primary One children on their first ever daily mile. What a lovely day we had for it! After our walk, the older children helped their buddies at lunch time. We are looking forward to working with them throughout the year!
