This team had great fun at the Active Schools festival at St Margaret’s/Airdrie Leisure Centre this morning. Overall, they played well as a team and supported each other well. Next steps are to develop physical stamina and maintain focus and concentration for longer periods of time. Keep up the good work!

We are looking forward to hearing pupils in Loch Tay class presenting their 2 minute talks about The Human Body to their class on Thursday 15th September or Tuesday 20th September!

Our Junior Road Safety Officers enjoyed their induction today. They came back with lots of ideas to help get Road Safety messages over to our pupils.

Thanks everyone who has handed in a donation already. We have collected £237 to date but have a target of £600. Can those who have not donated yet, please do so. All money raised will benefit the pupils of Plains Primary.

Thanks to all those who took part in Saturday’s sponsored walk. If you were unable to come along we would still gratefully receive your donations to the school fund.

Please try to join us on our annual sponsored walk to raise school funds. Meet at 10am at the Gospel Hall on the Main Street. All children must be accompanied by an adult and any dogs must be kept on the lead at all times and be kept under control.

If you are unable to participate, a donation will be very much appreciated. Money raised will be used for school resources that will benefit all learners.
