Shadow Messages

Here’s a lovely idea to try today, or at some point this week.  Try making a shadow message and post a photo of it on teams (or email it to me). All you need is paper (old cereal boxes, magazines or newspapers would be perfect), a pencil and scissors – and some sunshine of course!  What other ideas could you come up with? For example, we’re going to try “Hi Gran x” and send it to our gran. What else could you do?

Welcome to your final term of Primary School

Good morning Primary 7.  I hope you are all keeping well and healthy.  I hope you enjoyed your two week break. This is not the start to Term 4 that any of us planned, however, I will do my best to support you in your learning.  I will also be helping my own two children’s home learning as well as writing your final reports, so it’ll be a busy time.

On Microsoft Teams, I would like you to write a paragraph telling me what you’ve been up to during the last couple of weeks.  As an example, I have put mine on Microsoft Teams, in the Assignments tab.  I look forward to reading yours.

Look out for some new literacy and maths tasks on Studdyladder and remember our April Sumdog contest is still running too.

Get Arty!

If you fancy something a bit different to try over the holidays, check out artist Rob Biddolph’s website, Draw with Rob.

He has posted tutorial videos to help you learn how to draw some cool characters. This is my daughter Quinn’s Gregosaurus.

If you do have a go at any of them, upload a photo on Microsoft Teams so I can see how you’re doing.

Have a good break.

Sumdog Class Challenge

I have set a challenge on sumdog for the month of April. It covers a variety of maths concepts.

I wonder who in our class will win this?

Also remember the challenge against Mr Puim’s class is finishing tomorrow.

If you haven’t popped in to Microsoft Teams yet please say hi. You can also upload pictures there.

Microsoft Teams

‪Hello P7. I have created a class team on Microsoft Teams which you can access from your glow launchpad. People in our class can chat and share photos there. Alternatively you can email me at gw09macdonaldfiona11@glow.sch.uk

I would love to hear how you’re getting on.
