History

Here is an interesting lesson about the Ancient Egyptians Gods and Goddesses. I know we’ve spoken a bit about Ancient Egypt and some of you chose to do a bit of research when we did our Non-Fiction minibooks.  So I think you will find this an interesting lesson.  Please visit the Teams page to tell me what you have learned.

I have set an assignment on Teams to follow this lesson, so start with the lesson first and then try the assignment.

Also check my blog post from Friday about Dekko Comics and look at the pages on historical sources, if you haven’t already.

Maths

Here is a lesson to help you learn about simplifying fractions.

I have posted the winners of the Sumdog competition for April over on Teams.  I have also set a new competition for this week which starts at 8am Monday morning (4th May 2020) and ends 4pm Friday afternoon (8th May 2020).  Good luck!

There are also Maths and Numeracy activities on Studyladder for you to try. If you haven’t managed to log into studyladder yet, check your glow email.  I have sent you your login details there.  Still not sure? Just ask. You can comment on this blog, tag me in Microsoft Teams or email me at gw09macdonaldfiona11@glow.sch.uk – happy to help.

Spelling Words for this week

If you wish to do some spelling activities this week, here are your words. Choose an active spelling strategy from this grid:
