Last day of school 🌈🌞

Good morning everyone.

I can’t believe it is your last day of P6/7. This will be a year that I am sure you will never forget. I know I won’t. Thank you to each and every one of you for your hard work this year, particularly during lockdown. You should be so proud of yourselves.

Primary 7. It’s time to say goodbye for now. Your journey to high school has begun. Go and be the best version of yourself. Make yourself proud and follow your dreams. I hope that you will keep in touch and let us know how you are getting on.

Primary 6. You are now about to close the P6 chapter and after the holidays, will have an exciting year of responsibility and opportunities, as P7s. I can’t wait to see you all, when you return.

If today was a normal day in school, we would play games, enjoy the outdoors, be busy tidying the class and reminisce with our friends. Although we can’t do that today, I want you to choose to do something that you enjoy doing today. Make it a happy day at home. And a happy last day of lockdown learning as P6/7. Share a photo with us on Teams.

It’s time to switch off from school now and have a well deserved break. I hope that your summer holidays are happy and safe. I will be thinking of you all today when the school bell goes at 1pm! I might even do a go noodle in our classroom just for ‘one last time.’ Unicorn noodles?!

Hope to see you all soon. Have fun today.

Good morning everyone.

As our time in P6/7 comes to an end, I have set you a reflection task. Have a think about the questions below and share your answers over on Teams. I would love to hear from you all.

Tell me…

1. Something you are proud of.
2. Your best memory of P6/7.
4. A lesson you enjoyed that you think future children should get to do.
5. Something you learned in lockdown.
6. Something you are looking forward to.
7. How you feel about coming back to school in August.

Monday 1st June 2020

Good morning P6/7!

Can you believe it is the 1st of June already? I hope you have all been enjoying the beautiful sunshine.

For today’s home learning tasks, I have set you two challenges to complete as St. Andrew’s Hospice Ambassadors. Your completed work will be shared on the school Twitter, website and individual class Teams.

1. Film a Persuasive Video Task

2. Design a poster

You may do 1 or both of these tasks. Please submit to me by the end of today so that I can share with the school tomorrow. If you feel confident enough to film a video, the more I have the better!

This week is going to be a fundraising week for St. Andrew’s Hospice and I need you to help me spread the message by completing the above tasks.

We are setting 2 challenges for everyone in the school.

Wear Yellow Week

Soak the Teacher

We understand that all families might not be in a position to donate during these challenging times. Please know that all contributions to our fundraising week, whether that is raising awareness by participating in a challenge or making a donation, are greatly appreciated by St. Andrew’s Hospice, the patients and their families.

I can’t wait to see what you come up with for today’s tasks, and of course I hope that you have fun with the school challenges this week. If you have any questions, please use the ‘Ask the teacher’ channel on our class Team.

Good luck, ambassadors. You’ve got this!
