Wednesday’s Challenge!

Good Morning P4! Hope you’re all ok today! Wednesday’s challenge is a multiplication one! Choose a table you need to practise then write out all the answers to that table on separate bits of paper. Ask someone you live with to hide the little bits of paper around the house. Then you need to find them all BUT in the correct order (so if you’re doing the x8 you need to find the 0 then the 8 then the 16 then the 24, etc). If you find one out of order you need to leave it in it’s hiding place until you get to that number! Have fun! Mrs Steel 😀

Our New Topic…

Hello Primary 4, this term we were going to be learning about “Media”. I have decided to go ahead with this learning as there are lots of activities that can be done at home. I have attached your first task below.   Miss Stewart

Taught Writing…

Although we are not in school it is very important that you continue to write whilst at home. The literacy Shed has a range of resources with a stimulus to help you with your writing.

The stimulus I have set for this week can be found here : https://www.literacyshed.com/adventures-are-the-pits.html

At the end of the short film make notes on the following:

  • Why is the boy scared to go down the slide?
  • What is the creator/writer trying to tell us?
  • What is the main character scared of /nervous about?
  • Did the slide end where you thought it would?
  • What did the boy have to overcome in order to get out?

Your Writing task is:

Imagine your slide can end anywhere – where would it end?  Describe opening your eyes at the end of the slide – where are you?
