Today, Primary4/3 enjoyed learning about place value in the sunshine! They used hoops and bean bags to represent numbers then wrote the numbers in digits and words on their whiteboards. Great work P4/3!

Can I again ask parents/carers to use the Bowling Green carpark across from the school for drop off and pick up. The school car park is for staff and the mini-bus only. Parking on the hill is causing safety issues for pedestrians and cyclists. Thank you for your continued support in this matter.

Congratulations to all Primary 7 pupils who took part in the House and Vice Captain election campaign. Speehes were very well presented and pupils spoke confidently in front of their peers. After a secret ballot our Captains and Vice Captains were chosen to represent each house and all classess within the school. Well done again, a great effort from all!

Overtown Primary recently said goodbye to Mrs Muir. After many happy years at our school, Mrs Muir is now looking forward to relaxing and spending more time with her family. We wish Mrs Muir all the best and look forward to seeing her in school for a visit soon.
