Active measurement in P2

May 9, 2017 by User deactivated | 0 comments

Lots of active learning in Maths today in P2.   We worked in groups to measure each other’s height using crepe paper strips.  We managed to accurately cut each one to size to enable us to do some simple comparisons tomorrow.

Two Primary 2 classes getting to know each other

April 26, 2017 by User deactivated | 0 comments

Today, both Primary 2 classes came together for some inclusion time.   It was a great opportunity to get to know one another.  We began by breaking into small groups to introduce ourselves and talk about what we like.  We then had a wee boogie to a very apt song “Happy” because we were very happy to make

new friends and find out what makes each one of us very special.
