This morning the focus for P1’s Pupil Voice session was Fairtrade. We watched a very interesting video about Pablo the super banana which told us all about where our food comes from and how hard farmers work. We now know that buying Fairtrade food helps the farmers get a fair price for their food and in turn can look after their own families. We enjoyed a ‘Fairtrade Logo’ hunt around the school – we did an amazing job! We then joined the Fairtrade Pupil group with Mrs Weir to help with some large art work for the display in school.
