With the Chinese New Year coming up on the 28th of January, we are using this opportunity, in Religious and Moral Education, to learn about how Chinese families come together to celebrate their traditions and customs.   In modern Chinese the New Year

is also known as the ‘Spring Festival’ and to honour this we started to make our own blossom tree collages.

Here are some photos of the first stage: using lines and wool to make the tree shape.   Next week we will add colour and texture.
