Primary 4,6 and 7 made some cakes but no one got to eat them! These were no ordinary cakes, they were cakes for birds.  The children measured out the ingredients, mixed,  bashed and got their hands messy as they sculpted some lard/ seed and digestive bird cakes.

These were made in response to the little robin that visits P7 and the book ‘Coming Home’ by Michael Morpurgo that P6 have been studying in the lead up to Christmas.  We hope that the birds enjoy them as much as we enjoyed making them.
