In Maths, we have been looking at patterns. We can continue a pattern and soon we will be making patterns of our own. We also tried to make a number 3 with pegs – it was quite hard but we managed it! In Literacy we now have magnetic boards so we can make words. It will be much more fun when we know more sounds! We were able to make our spelling words with the giant magnetic letters – now we are going to be word detectives and find words we know in books we are reading. We are also learning about the characters in a story, so we chose a mask of our favourite characters from the Three Little Pigs and acted out the story. We practised our cutting skills and made some characters too.
