On the second day of our World of Work event, we were visited by Neil, an architect from NORR. We had lots of questions for Neil, especially when we discovered he was one of the architects who had worked on our school building!

That afternoon we were given an insight into the working life of a jewellery designer. We loved hearing all about Helen’s journey to starting her own business. Helen talked us through the many stages of her jewellery, from designing, planning, creating and selling. We were able to explore lots of the tools Helen uses and see some demonstrations of these in use. We had no idea how much work went into the pieces of jewellery.
