Week Ending 14th June 2019

Last week we welcomed His Lordship, Bishop Toal on Tuesday to speak with our P6 and P7 pupils who will be making the Sacrament of Confirmation.  On Wednesday, our children enjoyed an author visit from Chris Duke; he read his book, ‘Lucy’s Blue Day’ to our children and reinforced the important message that it’s okay not to be okay.  We finished our week on Friday with a very successful Sports’ Day – a massive thank you to Mr Maxwell for coordinating this.  Thank you also to our Parent Council members who came along to organise the ‘tuck’ stall.

Looking to our week ahead, it is our Nursery’s Sports’ Day on Monday.  Our Confirmandi pupils will also go over to Church on Monday afternoon and Wednesday afternoon for confessions in preparation for Thursday.

It is Transition Afternoon on Tuesday; all children will find out their new teachers and class mates.  Please check your child’s bag for a letter with full details on Tuesday.  Please also note that staffing and classification are always potentially subject to change, but we minimise this wherever possible.

On Wednesday afternoon we have our Nursery Inductions.

On Thursday evening, our P6 and P7 pupils will continue their faith journeys by making the Sacrament of Confirmation at St. Francis Xavier Church at 7 pm.  Please keep all of them in your prayers.
