We have been busy learning about different types of weather this week in many different ways. Sponges have been used in the water tray to simulate clouds and how rainfall happens in a practical way. The children have also used sponges to make rainy day pictures with the paint. While experimenting with the shaving foam, we have drawn and moulded clouds and talked about our experiences with all types of weather.
Outdoors we have experienced how the wind can make things move as well as the many types of weather this week has brought us. The children have been using the logs to build camp fires, allowing them to develop their problem solving skills and some interesting role play.
We continue to enjoy our outdoor environment and the changes within the season and weather.
