Primary 2 have been creating spooky vampire pictures for Halloween. They used their hands and different coloured paint to create some super art work.

Here is the handout which was given to parents and the recent Nursery Meet and Greet event. The event was an opportunity for parents and families to meet the Nursery team and to learn about some of the work which goes on in our nursery.

A reminder to our parents and families that tomorrow is our second Happy House non-uniform day. Children should bring their  £1 to school and wear Happy House colours.

We hosted a Halloween Movie Night in the school gym hall. The boys and girls enjoyed relaxing with their friends, watching a movie and enjoying a snack. We will also be having Halloween activities and parties on Monday.

Primary 7 have been making energy bars just like the ones from Kilbowie. The boys and girls measured out the ingredients and mixed it all together and worked as a team.

Here is this weeks Stars of the week. The boys and girls were presented with their trophy and star counter by Miss McFadden at this weeks assembly.

P1/2 enjoyed making Gruffalo Crumble this week. They were slicing oranges for the Gruffalo’s orange eyes, blueberries for his purple spikes and brownies for the black parts of his eyes and mixed it with sponge cake to make lovely Gruffalo Crumble. They all learned about how important it was to wash their hands before handling food and how to use knives safely to cut but they loved getting their hands messy again mixing all the ingredients together.

The captains have completed the weekly house count. The winning house was Baird House. Well done to all the boys and girls for earning so many house counters this week.
