Hello Boys & Girls

Hi Everyone,

I have had a look at all of the lovely activities and ideas that your Class Teachers have posted to keep you all busy, entertained and working hard. Remember to try and have some fun too and help your adults when you can. Normally we are having our Easter celebrations, challenges and activities but this year it’s a bit different but we’re very proud of you all for still trying your very best at home. Well done to all of you boys and girls for getting through these big changes and hopefully we will all be back at school together again soon. Hopefully you will all manage to have some fun and fresh air during the Easter break. I have added a link below  – the Primary Games website has some Easter games for you to access and try.

Look after each other and stay safe.

Primary 1/2

Hi boys and girls hope you are all keeping safe and well.  As you know it is almost Easter, so I hope you get a chance to complete some of the Easter activities in your home learning pack! There are lots of lovely craft ideas online too! I would love to know what you have being doing since I last saw you. You can always send me a message, or post a picture.

Well done to Lorena, Darren and Oscar for completing your Sumdog challenges.  You have been very busy this week! Look out for another challenge later. Remember you can practise words and spelling on Sumdog too.

I miss you all and hope we can all get back to school soon. Take care everyone and remember to keep in touch.

Easter is nearly here!

Good Morning Primary 5/6,

I hope we all have had a great week. I want to say a big well done to the boys and girls who accessed Sumdog this week and managed to complete the challenge set! I will set another challenge after the holidays. Since we are almost at the Easter Holidays, so here is an easy fun Easter craft idea to try over the holidays.

Watch the video clip and try your own Easter Bunny Card.

If you don’t have access to a printer to print off templates, don’t worry just use some paper at home to draw out your own bunny and use any arts and craft materials you have at home to design your card.

I also found an interesting booklet called ‘My 2020 Covid-19 Time Capsule’ that has lots of different activities for you to do. You can get this from the attached PDF below.

My 2020 Covid-19 Time Capsule

I am missing you all loads. I hope you have a great Easter and stay safe! Remember you can comment to update me on how you are doing.

Speak soon,

Miss Jones

Happy Easter!

Good Morning Primary 4/5,

As you know, today is the last day of online learning before we take a break for the Easter holidays.  A new learning grid will be uploaded for you after the holidays.

I uploaded some Arts and Crafts activities earlier in the week. It would be lovely to see them, why dont you take a picture and post them in the comments below?

I hope you all get lots of Easter eggs and enjoy spending time with your families.

Stay stafe, have fun and Happy Easter!

Missing you all.

Miss Davidson

A message for Primary 7

Hi Primary 7,

We have now reached what would have been our spring holidays! So I wanted to say that I hope you have a restful couple of weeks and are keeping well and safe. I’ll be posting a new home learning grid some time after the holidays for you all.

I’ll post a couple of links to websites that I have found which you might like to have a look at, and I would love to hear how you are all getting on in the comments.

  • Here is a Wizarding Website all about Harry Potter. There are loads of quizzes and puzzles. I did the House Sorting Quiz and it turns out I am in Hufflepuff! https://www.wizardingworld.com/quiz
  • Through this website I also found links to a free audio book of Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone read by Stephen Fry. There are other fantastic free audio books on this website, and can be found here: https://stories.audible.com/discovery

  • We are in the lead up to Easter, so whilst you enjoy an Easter egg, why not have a read of an illustrated copy of the Easter Story: The Story of Easter

I am thinking of you all.  Keep safe and keep in touch!
