Primary 4 have been working very hard all week.
The boys and girls have been learning more about the Titanic and designed the ship using Word at ICT time. We chose whether we were a 1st, 2nd or 3rd class passenger and packed a suitcase with what we would take on the maiden voyage. Our wall is looking fabulous. Don’t you agree?
We are working hard on our tables and played a new game using a beach ball. It was lots of fun and helped us learn our tables.
To finish off our week, we discussed what our ambitions are and wrote about what we want to do when we are older.
Well done, primary four, you have all worked so hard this week.
Have a well deserved, relaxing weekend.
Today some of the Fairtrade Committee met and got started on planning their assembly.
Did you know Fairtrade Fortnight begins on the 29th of February – 13th March, and this year’s theme is “Breakfast”.
We are planning some fun activities to raise awareness of this great foundation.
Keep your eye out for more photos of the great wok the boys and girls undertake.
Earth hour in school Friday 18th of March at 1pm. Lights out!
We sorted food into 2 groups after watching a powerpoint about Healthy and Unhealthy foods. We worked together and explained our choices to the class. We can make good choices when it comes to food now. We know what we should eat lots of and what we should keep as a treat!
The Three Reads
We have been using props imaginatively to re-tell the story about Hungry Hettie ( Hungry Hettie: Jo Allan isbn978-0863157790)
We were developing our fine motor skills as we hung out the washing ” I’m being the granny”.
Watch this space over the next couple of weeks to see how we get on with growing our very own potatoes…You never know we might even manage to send some home for dinner 🙂
