P3/4 have been learning about the senses. We have been focusing on hearing, sight and touch to begin with. Today we enjoyed the beautiful spring weather and went outside to focus on items we could see and different things we could hear. The class then wrote or drew what they had experienced outside 🙂
P3/4 learned some French phrases this morning and played some fun games. We will be learning lots more French over the next few weeks and will be sharing our new knowledge with you at home 🙂
Primary 7 have been learning about life during WW2. The pupils created some excellent Anderson Shelters as a homework challenge. A successful Anderson Shelter had to withhold 1kg of weight, be waterproof and fit 1 lego man inside. Here we are putting them to the test. They were a great success!
P6a were challenged to see if the bulb would light up in 10 different situations. Would you get it right?

We had a lovely day raising awareness of the Beatson Cancer Charity and the fantastic work they do. Primary 4-7 created their own Beatson Mascot and these will be entered into a competition. The wining design will be made the official mascot for Beatson. Primary 1 -3 made some amazing ‘Yellow Pictures’ which will be put on display throughout the school.
