P1 pupils in P1/2 have been working hard to learn their common words.
Nativity rehearsals are coming along well!
P1, P1/2 and P2/3 are working hard and their singing is coming along a treat! Please remember to rehearse your lines and songs as often as you can boys and girls.
Remembrance Day Art: In Flanders Fields
In P7b we chose which resources we wanted to work with to create poetry and poppies…We came together to share our thoughts and ideas as a class and then we worked in pairs.

French with Mr Bauld
Mr Bauld worked with us today. He is a French teacher from Airdrie Academy and he taught us how to say different sports in French. This was part of our P7-High School transition…we will be having lots more visits over the coming months, keep an eye out for more updates!
Super Science: The Big Explosion!
Two of the children in P7b decided they wanted to create the ‘Big Explosion.’ They used fairy liquid, bicarbonate of soda, glitter, vinegar and food colouring. Mrs Reid had a lovely smell of vinegar off her afterwards, as the bottle exploded. Have a look to see the fun we had…

Primary 1 Active Literacy- working on our sound recognition in small groups is really helping us reinforce our learning and work cooperatively with our friends.

Today we have been revising our common words using play dough, writing on our big board and playing matching games on the SmartBoard 🙂
