Primary Four’s Educational Visit.

On Wednesday, primary four visited The Motherwell Heritage Centre to learn more about The Romans. The children participated in a fun workshop where they got to try on armour and togas.

It was a great day!

Have a look at the photos to see all the fun we had.

We were very lucky to have received a visit from the Google Expeditions Team, demonstrating the impact that Virtual Reality can have on our world. Our P4-P7 classes got to experience an immersive experience in space, the ocean, at a volcano as well as many additional adventures. Looking Good!

Again, two P7b pupils led the learning in the class and delivered a lesson during writing. They focussed on the theme of Halloween and used Glow collaboratively at home to create a PowerPoint to stimulate interest in the topic. They also had prizes for the best piece of writing. Well done, Boys!

We have been so excited today in class! Our Spring Bulb Investigation is well underway and we focused on planting our daffodil and crocus bulbs in our pots today.  We will be monitoring their progress on a daily basis from now until Spring!

Very well done to our two Primary 7 girls who led the learning in PE today. They were confident in their approach and ensured that the skills being developed previously were incorporated into their plans. It was an excellent show of depth and challenge as many different activities were planned and executed well. Great work.  👍🏻

RME through Drama and Technology in P7a/b

Mrs Simm’s worked with us to teach us all about the Disciples, where they came from, what they did for a living, what parts of the Bible they wrote and any letters they may have written. Mrs Simm’s taught us this through drama and making use of technology.

Tune in next week to see part 2…
