Busy Woodland Explorers

On our walk to the site we went on a number hunt and discovered lots of numbers everywhere.  They were on doors, car number plates, road signs and street signs.  We got a big surprise when we went into the woods as there were lots of numbers hanging from the trees!  When we took them down we all worked together to place them in the correct order.

We were also very busy making super masks using lots of leaves.  Mrs Mair was very impressed as we worked well together, sharing the glue and the leaves which we had collected.  Our masks looked super!  They made us look like owls…..Twit twoo! Twit twoo!  Twit twoo!

Do you like our Woodland Christmas Tree?  We had lots of fun decorating it with baubles and tinsel.  It looked beautiful and really sparkly.  Merry Christmas everyone!!

Whoops A Daisy Angel (part 2)

From the angels, to the snowflakes, to the narrators and the children in the nativity group, all our nursery children did a fantastic job today during their performance.  Their singing and actions were really good and all the nursery staff are delighted with how well they did.  Here are some actions shots from during the performance.

Primary four have been focussing on magnets during science.

They have learned lots of information and today they created their own game incorporating magnets to their design.

Primary 7 Christmas Coffee Morning

Primary 7 had a fantastic morning entertaining our grandparents, neighbours and friends. The tension for the game of BINGO was immense, but funnyyyyyyyyyyy! The cakes, tea and coffee went down a storm and there were some delighted ‘YOUNG’ people in the hall who won some fantastic hampers. ENJOY!!! A great morning all round and a big THANKS to everyone for coming along and helping to spread some Christmas cheer by singing along with us…

Lots of love at Christmas time from Miss McLaughlin, Mrs Reid and all the children in Primary 7.
