Primary 7 Christmas Coffee Morning
Primary 7 had a fantastic morning entertaining our grandparents, neighbours and friends. The tension for the game of BINGO was immense, but funnyyyyyyyyyyy! The cakes, tea and coffee went down a storm and there were some delighted ‘YOUNG’ people in the hall who won some fantastic hampers. ENJOY!!! A great morning all round and a big THANKS to everyone for coming along and helping to spread some Christmas cheer by singing along with us…

Preparing for our Christmas Enterprise!
Primary 7 are well under way preparing for their Christmas Enterprise tomorrow. We are having a ‘Christmas Coffee Morning’ for the elderly in the village. We will serve cakes, biscuits, tea and coffee. We will also have free raffles, (some fantastic hampers to be won) and a few games of BINGO… We can’t wait to spread Christmas Cheer!!! 🙂
Christmas All Around
Our theme this month has been Christmas all Around. We have been learning about the nativity and how this is an important celebration in many peoples’ lives. As part of our learning we have been looking at positive friendships and thinking about the way we should treat our friends. We have been writing lots of messages to our friends and also to Santa, letting him know what we would like for Christmas. Numbers have also been a focus and we have been on a number hunt around the school. The photos show a peek at all our busy work.
P1/2 have been learning some French
P1/2 have been learning French terms and were able to have conversations with each other. I was so impressed!
P1/2 continue to learn about growing plants
We are continuing with learning about how plants grow and we have been been measuring the rainfall each day and focusing on the change in temperatures.
P1/2 are developing their knowledge of 3D objects
We are becoming confident naming the properties of 3D objects and identifying them in our environment!
