New Monkland Primary School & Nursery

This afternoon we have been learning about Diplodocus. We did some writing, played with some dinosaur figures and tried to make some dinosaurs from plasticine.

Ask your child some facts about the dinosaurs they have been learning about.

 

 

Primary 7 decided on their IDL theme by taking part in a class vote. The winning theme was HARRY POTTER…

A sneaky T – Rex’s skull was found in primary two, and it felt hard and heavy.

We also looked at a T-Rex’s footprint and discovered it would take 22 children’s shoes to fill it!!!

Our new Primary 1 pupils had a brilliant first day. They were very settled and enjoyed getting to know school and their new classroom. I am sure you will all agree they look fabulous too!
