Primary four have been learning about the parts of the mosque and used resources we have in the class to design their own. Don’t they look great?
Global Storylines in P4
P4 have started their new interdisciplinary focus “Whose Water, Whose Power?” It involves using a global storyline and will incorporate lots of drama which the children are very excited about.
So far, we have discussed what a community means to us, and differentiated between needs and wants. The discussions were great and I was one impressed teacher. Looking forward to all of the learning yet to take place.
First we sorted the needs and wants under two headings.
Then we ranked them from most important to least important. This was really hard!

👏🏻🍃Eco flag Renewal ……SUCCESS👏🏻🍃
After lots of hard work and submitting our Eco renewal application I am delighted to tell you we have received renewal of our Green Flag. The Green flag is the highest award for Eco schools Scotland and we have been successful now since 2012 in achieving this status. The inspectors commented on the success of our initiatives and how Eco is embedded in our school and our community.
Thank you all for your continued support and hard work. We look forward to working with all members of the school and community in order to keep our Green flag flying.
