One of our favourite stories shared during The Three Reads this month was The Bear under the Stairs, written by Helen Cooper. We learned about the title and the blurb on the back of the book. At home you may enjoy talking about some of your child’s own books and asking them to show you where the title and blurb are.
The children have been very busy down in the woods with Mrs Mair. From swinging in hammocks to finding mini-beasts and Autumn leaves, they have been having a ball.
P1/2 have been learning about firefighters and how they help us during Health and Wellbeing and then wrote about what they could remember during Taught Writing.
P1 pupils in P1/2 have been working hard to learn their common words.
P1, P1/2 and P2/3 are working hard and their singing is coming along a treat! Please remember to rehearse your lines and songs as often as you can boys and girls.
