P6 & P7 School “Experience”

Primary 6 & Primary 7 had a great day at ‘The Experience’ in Hillington. They got to participate in T- Shirt printing (and even got to take their T-Shirt home) as well as Laser Tag and Slot Car racing. An excellent “experience” had by all.

Thanks to our parent helpers who were very supportive to all and to our PTA for funding our event.

Summerlee Museum

Primary 7 had a fantastic time at Summerlee Museum. We compared mining homes through the years, explored what life was like down the mines and investigated World War 1. We learned about trench warfare and what life was like in Britain during that time.

General Knowledge Quiz

Primary 5-Primary 7 were involved in an EPIC, 65 question, General Knowledge Quiz. They impressed with their knowledge and understanding. However, there can only be one winner.

Congratulations Group 6!!

P7 Anderson Shelters

Primary 7 have been learning about life during WW2. The pupils created some excellent Anderson Shelters as a homework challenge. A successful Anderson Shelter had to withhold 1kg of weight, be waterproof and fit 1 lego man inside. Here we are putting them to the test. They were a great success!

Primary 7 have been blogging about a book that ‘captured them’ to celebrate World Book Day. We had lots of fun reminiscing about different books we have read over past few years.
