P2/3 and P4 Bounce and Skip for Fun!!
Primary 2/3 and 4 are bouncing and skipping for fun this morning.
They are having lots and lots of fun.
Next up, Zumba 💃💃💃💃.
Clear Blue Valley Residents (P4 Drama)
Today, I had the pleasure of meeting the Clear Blue Valley Residents as they met with the representative of the Dam Company. They put some great points across as to why they dam should not be built in their valley. I was very impressed with their conduct and reasoning to what was a very passionate discussion. Good Luck with your future endeavours- I hope you win your battle.

Primary Four Gymnastics
Primary four were showcasing their gymnastics skills during their PE this afternoon. They were working independently, performing jumps from a height and working with a partner to create impressive balances.
Protesting.
Primary four have written another letter to object to the dam being built and have decided the want to protest to show how unhappy they are.
They are busy writing letters and preparing their signs!
Becoming Digging Machines.
Yesterday, the children worked in groups to use their body and actions to resemble a dam building machine. The groups had to connect, make a slow motion action and make a sound.
They did great and it was very interesting to watch. 
Dam Simulations.
We used our time during ICT to simulate some dams and see the effects these can have on the environment. 
Writing to the Water Company.
After researching information about dams yesterday, the community of Clear Blue Valley received a letter to inform them that the dam is now being built in their community!!
They are writing persuasive letters to the water company (and some important people 😏) to convince them to move their dam somewhere else.
The children are using their notes from yesterday to support their argument.
A Stranger Arrives.
A stranger arrived in Clear Blue Valley very upset. The community helped her but are now worried about the future of their beautiful valley.
Tomorrow they are going to research dams and see how they can use this knowledge to help them.

There were some fantastic questions being asked to our stranger. The community really helped find out her worries and then shared some of their own during “Thought Tracking”.
A Day in the Life of Clear Blue Valley
The children took on their roles this afternoon to mime a typical morning in Clear Blue Valley.
They created still images and a whole class tableu.
“We need our community to be nice and safe, that’s why we have to all do jobs.”
“We’ve been learning to use our actions and hands instead of talking.”
