Green Fingers!
Maths outdoors in Primary 1
We took some of the resources and games from our number box outside in the sunshine today. We were adding and subtracting up to 20 and 30, writing numbers up to 100, finding the missing number and taking turns.
An amazing day out at The Kelpies and Helix Park for P1, 2 and 3/4
The sun was definitely shining for our Summer outing this year. The children had a ball and I am sure it will be hard to beat next year. The children got to go inside one of The Kelpies but I think the favourite part was the park and water area! A big thanks to our parent helpers who came along.
🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹 Primary 1 wrote a report about Italy as part of our topic work. We read our work to P3, P4 and P5. They were so impressed with our confident reading and we taught them a few facts too!! 🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹
Telling the Time! Primary 1 have been learning how to tell the time. We are getting so good at it and can now play lots of maths games in class all about time🔢😀⌛️📅✏️🕐🕥
Primary 1 had fun creating jewellery today. We had to concentrate very hard and found it tricky to tie knots but some of us are experts now. We loved our bracelets and will be wearing the all of the time.
Transition from Nursery to Primary 1 – A Great Day!
P1,P2 and P3/4 learned about the Scottish SPCA
We listened very carefully to our speaker Dawn who told us lots of super facts about the Scottish SPCA 😊
Shape Adventure Hunt
Primary 1 and Primary 6 were outdoors in our playground searching for shapes and quantities of items.
The Primary 6 were great leaders ensuring that their “Partner Primary 1” were supported in the task.
Primary 1 had great fun.
