Nursery to Primary 1 transition days
Focus for transition days are Health and Well being with the theme being ‘Friendship.’
Induction day 1 – Thursday 28th April 9:20am-10:20am
Induction day 2 – Thursday 12th May 9:20am-10:20am
Induction day 3 – Thursday 19th May 9:30am-10:30am
Children to P1 classroom/Parents stay for information event
10:30am-11:30am – Stay and Play, parent and child (P1/Playroom)
11:30am-12pm – New Primary 1 lunch

Nursery Parental Information Evening – Tuesday 24th May 6:30pm-7:30pm (new starts)
Nursery Summer trip – Thursday 2nd June (Blair Drummond Safari Park)
Nursery Sports Day – Friday 17th June
(am) 9:30am-10:30am
(pm) 2pm-3pm
Nursery Graduation Rehersal – Tuesday 21st June 10:10am-11:10am (Please make sure that all children are dropped off and collected from main entrance of school building)
Nursery Graduation – Wednesday 22nd June 1:30pm-2:30pm (Please join us for tea/coffee and cake afterwards)

After chitting our potatoes for the last 2 weeks; we have now planted our potatoes…we used compost and bags and planted the potatoes with the shoots facing upwards! Watch this space over the next 4 weeks as there could be lots of potatoes coming your way!

We have been using props imaginatively to re-tell the story about Hungry Hettie ( Hungry Hettie: Jo Allan isbn978-0863157790)
We were developing our fine motor skills as we hung out the washing ” I’m being the granny”.
