Writing to the Water Company.

After researching information about dams yesterday, the community of Clear Blue Valley received a letter to inform them that the dam is now being built in their community!!

They are writing persuasive letters to the water company (and some important people 😏) to convince them to move their dam somewhere else.

The children are using their notes from yesterday to support their argument.

A Stranger Arrives.

A stranger arrived in Clear Blue Valley very upset. The community helped her but are now worried about the future of their beautiful valley.

Tomorrow they are going to research dams and see how they can use this knowledge to help them.

There were some fantastic questions being asked to our stranger. The community really helped find out her worries and then shared some of their own during “Thought Tracking”.

Whose Water, Whose Power?

Primary four our are continuing on with their global storylines and are busy building the context behind the drama that is to follow. We have worked together to create our community valley, and decided to name it “Clear Blue Valley”.

We have been doing a lot of learning about the importance of water and the differences in the availability of it around the world.
