In Primary 1 we have received a very special visitor. The bear from St. Andrew’s hospice has decided to stay with us for a wee while. We will be doing lots of fun things with him and taking him on some adventures. Today we decided our bear needed a name. We held a class vote and all suggested some names. We counted up who had the most votes and it was for Mr. Ted. Mr. Ted will be getting to go home with the boys and girls in the near future and you might see him out and about in the village.
This raises great awareness for the hospice and is one of the school business partners. We always look forward to helping in any way we can and I am sure the boys and girls will do lots to promote the hospice whilst having lots of fun with Mr. Ted.
I think Mr Ted is a wonderful name! I’m sure he will have the most amazing adventures along with P1, supporting a very worthwhile cause.
