Nursery Rhymes – Home Link

Our first rhymes for sharing are numbers 27 and 28 we have already noticed that the children are keen to perform Rock –A-Bye-Baby using our doll. We will continue these rhymes for a few weeks as the children become more skilled at reciting them. Just a note to say that Mrs Cumming has made up the props for 5 Currant Buns and they are  now available for you to borrow from our Lending Library.

Have lots of fun reciting your rhymes at home. We would love to hear how well you are doing and look forward to hear what you think of our new rhyme props.

We had a great response to our rhyme workshop and we are delighted by your very kind comments.

Here are a few examples of your feedback.

Sounds a great idea really looking forward to trying out the ideas with my son.

Brilliant idea, welcome area is always informing us with what’s going on.

Fantastic presentation and I got lots of ideas to take home. My daughter will bring in some of her work.

Thanks for very good displays and ideas.

Excited to try out the nursery rhymes with my daughter at home using different methods. Got lots of animal figures at home that we can use.

Friends Are Special

Friends are special,

Friends are special,

So make a few, make a few.

Smile and say hello,

Everywhere you go,

How are you?

How are you?

Rock–a–bye Baby

 Rock-a-bye baby,

On the tree top,

When the wind blows,

The cradle will rock;

When the bough breaks,

The baby will fall,

Down will come baby

cradle and all.
