We have been developing our fine movements and recording the weather

We have been developing the use of our fine movements by exploring a range of resources such as pens, pencils, scissors and pulling up our zips on our jackets.  We have been practicing becoming independent by putting on our waterproof trousers, jacket and wellies to prepare to go outdoors.  The children have also been observing the daily weather and have recorded this information on to a chart.  The children are able to see the similarities and differences and able to discuss this with confidence.  We have also been recording the daily rainfall by checking our containers and measuring how much rain has fallen overnight.  We record this information onto a graph and we are beginning to use mathematical language when describing how much rain we have collected.
