Forest Kindergarten – AM children’s consultation

We met with the children going to the forest yesterday to discuss what we would see at the forest and what we could do.  We learned games to help keep us safe and together in a group like ‘Sticky Feet’ and learned how to stay safe around dogs and wasps by doing ‘Poo Jumps,’ ‘Who Let The Dogs Out’ and a ‘Wasp Drill.’  We decorated our wood cookie’s with our names on one side and a drawing of what we might find in the forest on the other side.

We are very excited about Forest Kindergarten starting next Wednesday and we are counting down how many sleeps we have left until we go.

There are videos of our ‘Poo Jump’ and ‘Wasp Drill’ on Twitter if you would like to have a look.
