We have been learning the importance of giving and receiving as we participate in supporting our local food bank.  We have been developing good use of our fine movements when forming letters to write words to make a leaflet to distribute to customers at our local Asda asking if they could support this cause.  We have a trolley at the front entrance of the nursery and some children are able recall information and  discuss with others what items they could bring in from home or buy one extra item when out shopping to allow people who do not have much food not to go hungry.  They have identified that this is a kind thing to do and will make people happy and proud.  Some children also visited the church to find out more information about where our donations went.  Nicky and Kay kindly shared lots of information and allowed us to see some of the items which have been donated.
