The Green Group have been learning about living things, how they grow, develop and are nurtured.  They were able to follow step by step instructions and plant their own sunflower seed.  The children watered their seed regularly and sat it in the sunshine to help it to grow.  The children observed their seeds and measured them with a ruler to find out the correct size.  They recorded this onto a chart and used it as a visual so they could clearly see the changes.  Some children were able to name the different parts of the flower.
