The children of the yellow group enjoyed listening to ‘Hungry Hettie’ as part of the Three Read Approach.  After we had completed the three reads, we decided to have a treat of ice cream just like Hettie had in the story.  The children used language like “shiver” to describe how the ice cream made their bodies feel, just like Hettie had in the book.
