Word of the Day for Wednesday

The word to register for online learning today is ‘caterwaul’, I wonder if you can tell me what it means?

Please scroll down the blog posts to the message Mr McCloskey posted yesterday afternoon.

Hopefully you’ll be able to login in to Teams this morning at 10.30a.m. for the Ash Wednesday Mass and again at 1.30pm for our class catch up.

Maths for Wednesday

  1. If you have still to login to Studyladder, see if you can spend some time on the website today.
  2. We will shortly be moving on to a new theme in Maths, Data Handling. The problem solving today will give you some experience of this. Take care to read the information at the top of the page and double check what operation you feel is required. Feel free to show working. I will post the answers to this at the end of the day. Problem Solving for Wednesday
  3. If you have yet to email me your 3r’s work it’s not too late, I’ll happily mark any that I receive today. 😉

I.D.L. for Wednesday

Now I understand that you’ll not have as much time today for online activities due to the Ash Wednesday Mass (10.30a.m.) and our class catch up (1.30p.m.) so with this in mind your task this afternoon is to listen to the first two parts of the radio drama. Feel free to make any notes & I plan for us to revisit this in the coming weeks.

  1. Iron Horses
  2. Without Equal

R.E. for Wednesday

Click on the link below for an article all about Lent.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/topics/ztkxpv4/articles/z77jf4j

As you know there will be an online Ash Wednesday Mass at 10.30am this morning on Teams.

Just a reminder that you will have all of this week to complete the first session of the Confirmation workbook. Your workbook content is personal to you and as such there’s no requirement for you to share your work with either myself or Mrs Baxter. That said, if you are finding any content difficult, please let us know and we’ll do our best to help you.

Hi primary 7 – I have put a message on your P7 Glow Team – can you log in and say hi there so that I know you have seen it??

Mrs Baxter has given me permission to take your meeting tomorrow and I am going to try something new.  It might end up a disaster but at least we will be able to say we tried our best!!!  Thanks everyone

Change of Wednesday catch up time

Hi Primary 7, just a quick note to say that due to the timings of the Ash Wednesday service we will have to change our teams meeting to the afternoon. We will have our catch up at 1.30pm instead. Hope to see you all then. Be ready to share some news with us, anything at all that you’ve been up to or even your plans for Lent and we’ll play a game too. Look forward to seeing you all then.

Word of the Day for Tuesday

Good morning P7, I hope this Tuesday finds you well. The word to register for online learning today is ‘lemon’. Can you guess why I’ve picked that word?

Update

So we now have two volunteers for the bidding prayers meaning we are still looking for three. Please have a think about this, the prayers are very short and can be emailed to you in plenty of time. If you’d like to be involved please email me this morning.
