Rookie Rockstars

Last Monday in the gym hall P1-7 had Rookie Rockstars. They teach you songs that the whole school will perform together. The songs are called Bullies ain’t  Big, I’m so glad, Don’t Give Up, Let’s all be friends and Hey, Hey I’m ok. The whole school enjoyed it and it was really fun to do. 😉    By Reese Blackshaw

Today our class has been told that we can use Twitter so we’ve logged into the schools Twitter account to try it out. Also today some of the school are away to a friendly hand ball game. Good luck!

Maths money

We have been learning how to use money and all the different credit cards and how they can trick you and take more than they  should that is  called interest.  They have to be very clear about how much you will pay back. We have really be enjoying it.

Practice Dancing

Today we have been practising our dancing for the Christmas party. We were dancing with Primary 4,6 and 7 because the P5 went swimming and some of the P6,7’s went to handball. Some of the P4’s didn’t know what to do because they only started. The dance’s that we did were Gay Gordon’s, Military two step and the dashing white sergeant. Star Writters Competition

I wrote a short story 489 words long.  My story was called Fairyland Salsburgh and there were lots of different and weird names like Demonweb and Snowitch.  I enjoyed writing it and I’m very happy that I came joint second.  I’m glad that I even got this far. By Shelley Gilmour.

Today we were learning about Guy Fawkes .We learned that he got his head chopped off. 28/10/15 will be the first netball competion this year.  Our coach Miss Barr will take us like she has been doing for the last 5 turning 6 years.  Here are some updates in the last 5 years of going to the netball with Miss Barr: Year 1- We did not qualifie for Airdrie finals.  Year 2/3- We did qualifie for the Airdre finals but no more than that.  Year 4/5-

SSPCA

On Wednesday the SSPCA came over to have a visit to talk about wildlife in Scotland. Some of the animals are called otter, beaver, badger and did you know that bears in Scotland are extinct because of all the bear hunting but they are in different parts of the earth  like in America.
