In the class of p6/7 we have been learning about the different bugs in our trim trail.

We have a different variety’s of bugs like spiders, beetles, ants, cockroaches, worms and more! We found these bugs by using different items like a blanket to catch bugs and a card board square the blanket was used to hover under trees held by to people and one would shake the tree and bugs were meant to fall top of the blanket. The square would be placed and we would search inside the square.

The class also built three bug hotels to place in the trim trail then we would be able to see the bugs instead of searching for them. We built the hotels from metal tins to cardboard boxes and moss to hanky boxes but in the end we built three magnificent bug hotels.
