Primary 7 are about to start a new project in Social Studies about challenging sectarianism. They will learn about this mainly through reading ‘Divided City’ by Theresa Breslin. This is a plan of what we will learn through the topic: On Thursday, we will read the first chapter of the story. It is certainly written to grab the reader’s attention. We were making posters and researching Martin Luther King and the Civil Rights Movement and we enjoyed it.
For our Swinging Sixties topic Arlana, Charley and I wore some of the clothes that would of been worn in the Sixties. This part of the topic was great fun we even got to draw our own models in our jotters.
