Our PM nursery children showed off their ball skills to their parents at the final session of mini movers. Active schools coaches presented all the children with a certificate and goody bags.

P1-P3 World Book Day 2016
Great fun was had during World Book Day. Happy mad engaged children were caught reading throughout the day! Please take advantage of the £1 book token to collect a free book.
P4-7 World Book Day Fun
We have all had great fun today carrying out activities for World Book Day. We kick started the day with a character parade and book quiz in the hall. Well done to the house winners, Aberdeen!

Bake Off
There have been some enquiries about the rules of the bake off. Just to clarify. Each dish must be prepared and cooked, start to finish, in the school kitchen although weighed out ingredients can be brought pre prepared.
Fairtrade Coffee Morning
We look forward to welcoming all parents carers and friends of the school to our Fairtrade Coffee morning on Wednesday 9th March from 9:30 – 10:30am. Entrance £1 with all proceeds going to Fairtrade.

World Book Day
P5 have had lots of fun completing different World Book day activities. We took part in a character parade and quiz. We designed a front cover for a book with the title “Ocean Monsters”, wrote a blurb about the story and created a character description. We took part in a book swap with our friends in class and we have designed a book token and a bookmark! We have been busy bees! Everyone who dressed up looked fab too!

P2 have kick started World Book Day with a Character Selfie!
Fun Volcano Afternoon
Today we were outside drawing volcanoes and we did an experiment to watch how a volcano erupts. These are the steps to make one erupt- a tablespoon of baking soda, 1/4 a cup of vinegar, 4-5 drops red food coloring and washing up liquid. Directions- 1. make sure the volcano is in a clear tray before performing the eruption. 2. Addthe baking soad to the lava tube 3. Mix the vinegar,food colouring and dish soap together thoroughly. 4. Add the liquid solution to the lava tube. 5. Stand back and watch the lava ERUPT. We started making our own volcanoes in class. We have covered a bottle with newspaper and made it look like a volcano. We are going to make our volcanoes erupt when they are finished and painted.
